Parish Picnic

The pony ride, Madeleine's favorite part. She also loved "hugging the fire dog" - this guy in a dalmation suit in the fire truck - who had to be sweltering in there in the 90+ degree weather!
She got to hold a chicken! Thrilling! Bud also petted the little animals at the petting zoo. He was a little more timid about it though. He would pet the little rabbit, then run back and hug my legs, over and over again!
My mom hugging both kids! They LOVE their Grandma! And each other ;) Doesn't mom look good for an old woman? hahahaha!
John Paul clapping for his daddy playing in the band. After almost every song he would say, "DA!" which translates, "Again!"
Ken on the blog! He's the second from the right. Go check out his battle with athiests at Leila's blog. - look at the comments on this post.

Looking pretty good!

Thanks Beth!! :) Way to go for Ken and responding to the comments on Leila's blog, I have enjoyed reading them. He is making some great points - but of course you don't need me to tell you that. Have a great rest of the week!

They are just so cute! I love reading about how excited M and JP get about things because I know I have that to look forward to :)

And thanks for directing us to Leila's blog (I read it last night when there were only three comments).. now my head is absolutely spinning! Haha. How is Ken weeding through all that? Great job though!

Looks like the picnic was so much fun! We should have gone! Avery would have had a blast!
Ken is doing a great job! That beachbum guy makes me sad. He has deluded himself into thinking that his way of life is more fulfilling...

Your kids are the best! And your mom is a teenager. I am so glad that Ken, the literal rock star, was able to read through that crap (excuse my French) Mr. Bum was spewing and respond!!
