Tagged by Heather - 8 random things about me

1. My ultimate dream in life is to be a stay at home mom. A really good one.

2. I really like that my birthday falls right around Christmas. My mom always went out of her way to make it special, and I just love the whole month of December. And, since it's so close to Christmas, I hardly ever have had to work on my birthday. Of course, for the past several years, I've spent the day cooking and cleaning. But I don't mind. See number 1.

3. I'd rather go on a mission trip to Tijuana than go on a relaxing vacation.

4. I really miss dairy products. When I can have them again, I'm going to have Ritters Frozen Custard, a toasted bagel with cream cheese, Mom's creamy potato soup, and an iced chai from Starbucks. Not to mention parmesean cheese on my pasta.... ooh I better stop thinking about these things!

5. I'd like to adopt several children.

6. When I was little, I really enjoyed playing outside with my friends. We'd go build forts in the woods, play kickball, basketball, baseball, tag, etc with all the neighborhood kids. I really hope Madeleine likes to do that stuff too.

7. I really like cloth diapering and making baby food. I know, I'm weird.

8. I think my baby is the most beautiful, sweetest, most adorable baby that ever lived :) But you knew that.

I tag Heather back for 8 more random things! :)

And anyone else who wants to play.

I love reading your random things! If your serious about adoption, I would speak with your local Catholic Charity or Social Services...there is such a need for good foster parents, they are always desperate!

Kathryn, we were actually in the process to "foster to adopt" when we got pregnant. That is still the plan, when I get to be a stay at home mom.

I went through the process a few years ago and my eyes where opened wide to that need, that I wasn't really aware of before.
I had a friend who thought she was infertile go through the foster to adopt process when she got pregnant too. God is good however those babies come our way!
