Sorry I've been slacking with my posts! We had a busy couple of weeks. We had a great Christmas and New Year, and Ken and I had our last vacation before little Snack arrives (or our last vacation for about 20 years as my friend Jenny said!) We got the baby's room painted and the crib and changing table/dresser set up in there, as well as all of her clothes and toys put away. It looks so beautiful - better than I ever imagined. I will post some pictures when we get a camera (this weekend, I hope!)
I had a doctor's appointment today and everything looks great. Only 8 weeks to go!!

Glad to hear you guys enjoyed the holidays. Looking forward to seeing everyone around Easter. Say hi to Snack Pack for me. :p
So happy for you!
One of my dad's coworkers was asking him if we had the baby's room ready yet. He had to stifle a laugh because we are living in a one bedroom, three rooms total apartment. The baby's room will change between living room, parents' bedroom, and even kitchen as needed depending on the time of the day.
I will not know the fun of decorating the baby's room for this one anyway...maybe next time!
What a beautiful blog this is! Your post about natural childbirth, taking up your cross and your struggle with infertility is very moving. My husband and I have never been able to conceive, but we adopted our two beautiful daughters, and now I wouldn't change our infertility for anything! I know very well what your cross must have been like. I don't even know you, but I am so very happy and excited for you after having read your story. May Our Lord protect you and your baby every step of the way.
